Sculpt and bring your imagination to life!
Join us for a fun, hands-on clay workshop for kids and teens ages 7 to 17. Guided by Amanda Fletchersmith, young artists will learn the pinch pot technique and use it to make something that is truly their own.
What can you make? Anything that can be built with pinch pot! Create a friendly monster, ghost, pumpkin, turkey, woodland animal, or snowman. Or make a bowl, a vase, or any other shape you can dream up. Have a favorite character, creature, or animal? Bring a photo and we’ll help you sculpt it.
During this two-hour workshop, participants will learn how to shape, pinch, and build with clay while exploring texture and design. No experience needed, just bring your imagination!
Small class, big attention: We keep this workshop to just 6 seats, so every child gets plenty of one-on-one guidance and room to learn at their own pace. They won’t just make a clay piece. They’ll create a memory that stays with them for the rest of their lives.
Parents are welcome to stay and watch. If you’d like to sculpt alongside your child, please reserve a seat for yourself too.
What happens after the workshop:
Your piece will stay at the studio to dry and be kiln-fired, which takes about 3 weeks. Painting is not included in the workshop, but you have two options:

While we strive for the best results, there is always a small risk involved in the kiln firing process, which is beyond our control. Historically, the loss rate has been less than 2%, but we cannot guarantee the outcome of any fired item. By participating, you acknowledge and accept this inherent risk.
Finished items must be picked up within 60 days of completion. If items are not collected within this time frame, we reserve the right to recycle them, and we are not responsible for holding or storing them.
