Navy Blue Decorative Ceramic Bowl – Hand-Painted Garden Design, 10½”

This navy blue decorative ceramic bowl was hand-painted and glazed by Rezgar Mamandi at Manna Pottery in Sterling, Virginia. A wide navy rim frames a deep center filled with a colorful garden design, and the outside is painted too. At 10½ inches (26.7 cm) wide, it works as a centerpiece, a fruit bowl or a serving bowl. It is painted freehand and one of a kind.

The Garden Motif

The center of the bowl is a rosette of layered petals in yellow, orange, blue and green. The wide navy rim carries a lace-like border in white and blue, with fine white lines running to the edge. On the outside, rows of orange, yellow, green and blue scale-like petals wrap the bowl above a deep blue foot. Because every petal is painted by hand, small variations are part of the piece, not flaws.

• Use: Fruit, salads, bread or snacks. It is dishwasher safe and microwave safe.
• Display: On a stand like the one in our photos, or flat on a table as a centerpiece.
