Hands-on clay fun with a finished coil bowl to take home. July 30 · 1:00–3:30 PM
Not every young artist is ready for a full-week commitment — and that's exactly why this one-day clay camp exists.
Our Kids & Teens Handbuilding Workshop packs the joy of pottery into a relaxed 2.5-hour session for ages 7 and up. Kids build their very own bowl using the coil technique, then paint and decorate it the same day — a perfect first step into clay, a creative summer activity, or a low-pressure way to explore pottery before joining our week-long Kids Creative Clay Camp.
Held in our warm, welcoming art studio in Sterling, VA, this workshop brings together families from across Loudoun and Fairfax County, including Ashburn, Potomac Falls, Cascades, Herndon, and Reston.
What to Expect
From the moment they sit down, kids are creating. This guided, hands-on session is fun, flexible, and beginner-friendly, with plenty of room for imagination and personal expression.
