Service Description
A 2-day creative experience—one day of clay, one day of painting! 🗓 Date: April 17th (Hand-Building) + Free Studio Time (Painting after 10 days) ⏰ Time: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM 📍 Location: Manna Pottery: 36 Pidgeon Hill Dr Sterling, VA 20165 What to Expect: ✨ Kids will hand-build their own bowl, shaping and decorating it however they like! 🔥 We will clean up and fire their creations, making them durable and ready for the final step. They get free studio time to come back and paint their piece whenever they want. OR choose two glaze colors, and we’ll finish it for them! ✅ Final pieces will be dishwasher & microwave-safe—functional art they can cherish! The Magic of Hand-Building Pottery Hand-building is one of the oldest pottery techniques, allowing kids to shape clay using just their hands and simple tools—no pottery wheel needed! They will roll, pinch, and sculpt their bowls, giving them unique shapes and textures. This method encourages free expression, creativity, and hands-on learning. Why Pottery is Great for Kids: 🎨 Boosts Creativity – Kids can explore endless possibilities while designing their bowls. 🖐 Improves Motor Skills – Working with clay strengthens hand-eye coordination and dexterity. 🧘 Encourages Mindfulness – The tactile nature of clay promotes relaxation and focus. 😊 Builds Confidence – Seeing their finished, functional piece boosts pride and accomplishment! 🎟 Two days of fun, creativity, and hands-on learning! Spaces are limited—sign up today!
