🚤 "Dad & Me Boat Workshop – A Father’s Day Clay Adventure" 🧱 Set sail on a creative journey this Father’s Day weekend with a hands-on pottery experience perfect for all skill levels! In this one-day workshop, you’ll build a whimsical or classic clay boat using slab hand-building techniques. Whether it’s a sailboat, tugboat, or pirate ship, your vessel will be uniquely yours. This workshop is a great gift for Dad or the perfect "Dad & Me" activity to spend quality time together while getting creative. ⚓ What You’ll Do: Build and shape your own clay boat with guided instruction from a skilled ceramic artist. Add textures, details, sails, and any fun features you can imagine! 🎨 Painting Session: Once your boat is kiln-fired, return to the studio anytime during open hours to paint and glaze it using our full collection of colors and tools. We’ll take care of the final glaze firing. 📅 Date & Time (Building Day): Friday, June 14 | 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM 🎨 Painting Day: Flexible — come in at your convenience after firing 👩🏫 Instructor: Huyen MacMichael 💵 Price: $97 (includes both days, all materials, tools, and firing) 👨👧 Recommended Ages: 14+ or kids accompanied by an adult 🎟 Limited spaces available! Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and Refund Policy Cancellations within 24 Hours: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 24 hours of the class or workshop start time due to the short notice and inability to fill the spot. Cancellations before 24 Hours: Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the class or workshop will incur a $10 cancellation fee. Kiln Firing Risk Policy While we strive for the best results, there is always a small risk involved in the kiln firing process, which is beyond our control. Historically, the loss rate has been less than 2%, but we cannot guarantee the outcome of any fired item. By participating, you acknowledge and accept this inherent risk. Item Pickup Policy Finished items must be picked up within 60 days of completion. If items are not collected within this time frame, we reserve the right to recycle them, and we are not responsible for holding or storing them.
