Let your child explore the exciting world of pottery in a creative, hands-on learning environment. This 6-week course is perfect for beginners and budding artists alike. With small class sizes, each student gets personalized attention to help them build confidence and explore their creativity. Led by Carolee Stearns, a highly experienced and passionate pottery instructor, students will be guided through every step. Carolee has worked with learners of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a fun and inspiring experience where everyone feels supported. What They’ll Learn: Students will explore a variety of pottery techniques, including: Pinch Pots: Create basic forms by shaping clay with their hands. Coil Building: Build vessels using rolled clay coils. Slab Building: Craft shapes and designs using flat pieces of clay. Sculpting: Bring imaginative creations to life through hand-sculpting. Wheel-Throwing: Learn the basics of the pottery wheel to make cylinders and bowls. Decorating and Glazing: Add creative details and colors to their finished pieces. 🎨 Bonus!
